There is barely a game here. It feels like a student project that may have gotten a passing grade in a low level class, but was never polished properly for publication. The idea is good, and this game could become good, but only if it has a lot more work put into it. Right now it's basically the equivalent of a brainstorm.
Most of the artwork appears to be AI slop. Fortunately, the developer(s) did disclose generative AI usage, for which I am grateful. I still don't want to play a game made by AI, though.
If you have a lot of patience, you may find enjoyment in this game as it is now. For a low sale price, it could provide a couple of hours of semi-sandbox gameplay fun.
Oh! The Monopoly Money was fun! I did appreciate that the cash in the game is Monopoly Money. Unfortunately Mr. Monopoly looks really wonky due to his AI rendering. But that was one little funny spark. Though note that you have to do math -- you are expected to count out real change, and if you live in a country other than America, or maybe Canada, you may not be familiar with the coins. This may be a pro for someone who is trying to learn how to count out money or use a cash register, though.
Note: I attempted to play this game on Steam Deck, and it wasn't really doable. You at least need to play with a mouse and keyboard -- the game wasn't programmed for controllers.
And yes, I received a free copy from the developers for my honest review. This is my very honest review.
(I hate putting negative reviews up on my blog but I made a commitment to the developers, so here it is. I apologize to everyone for hastily accepting a game that turned out to be antithetical to my gaming interests.)
